About

Daniel wanted to find a platform that would allow him to pass on his extensive knowledge to the endurance sport community, so he created Hopper Sports Performance.

About Daniel Hopper

My passion for endurance sports started at the young age of 9, when I started competing in athletics, continuing on to cycling at age 12. It was around this time that I first fell in love with triathlon and multisport thanks to the original F1 series. Over the years I competed at a both State and National level in these sports before making the transition into Multisport in 2012, with my primary focus on long course duathlon.

Over my time of both racing cycling and multisport at high levels, I had to learn to balance the demands of working a full time job that had an every changing schedule with training for these races. There was some out of the box thinking that was required to make this happen. This was only possible thanks to the help of some very experienced coaches, which I was able to learn a great deal from.

Since 2017 I have been focusing more on the coaching and athlete performn side of the sport with the aim of passing on what I have learnt from the coaches I have worked with over the years. I spend a large amount of time studying both coaching and the sport science side of endurance sports to provide the best possible service the clients I work with.
